If you are new to the organization, you may be wondering what FCA is all about. Here are a few FAQ questions.
What does FCA stand for? FCA stands for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
When was FCA founded? FCA was founded in 1947 and in 1954 it got its name. Yes, that’s 60 years of ministry.
Why do you have to raise money? FCA is a non-profit ministry, so that means all of the staff technically function as in country missionaries. Therefore, we have to raise 100% of our ministry costs with the help of generous people like you. Without donors, or teammates, it would be impossible to do what we do. It’s similar to raising money to go on a mission trip, only we are on mission every day.
Are donations tax deductible? Yes! All donations to FCA are fully tax deductible. If you give online, you can print your donations at the end of the year, OR have them mailed to you.
