I wanted to be able to get a little bit deeper into some of the things that are happening, what God is doing, how all of this is coming together, and how it came together. So let’s rewind and talk about this last couple months.

Derek ended up getting a new job that was going to move us to Ohio right around the time we were going to Real Time, our international conference we have for FCA down in Florida. I have been exploring the idea of moving over into the international space if we were to move, because as you know, I have such a heart for international.

God having a heart for the nations is something that I want everybody to know. It’s something that I want everyone to dive into and explore and really understand that God wants everyone across the earth to hear the gospel. Doing Global Impact last year in Sweden, I really caught the bug for wanting to do FCA international things.

I got the chance to meet with a couple of people during Real Time and I found out through these conversations that the Great Lakes Region, which is Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia, that their RDIA, Regional Director of International Advancement, was actually moving to Hungary so their position was becoming available. I was like, you know what, I think this might be for me! I ended up meeting with the the RVP (Regional Vice President) and ended up applying for the job.

Then a bunch of whirlwind things happened. I ended up in a position this past semester of not knowing if we were staying or moving, so I was kind of living with one foot in both worlds. I continued interviews and ended up getting the job on May 8th. Then through a bunch of other circumstances, Derek ended up staying with his current company and we are *potentially moving to Michigan starting in January.

I’m so thankful for all of you! I’m so thankful for how the Lord has brought me all the way from high school ministry into being in this international space. I love you all, thank you for your support and your love. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
