I can’t believe it has already been a week since Global Impact began!

It’s always amazing to watch the interns get to know each other and figure out how the Lord wants to use them during this time and beyond. I’ve had so many conversations about how God is speaking to individual interns even though they are all getting the same training.

I love that our God is intentional and unlimited. I love that he sees each individual heart and knows just how to draw them to himself.

We did a lot of classroom this week learning about God’s heart for the nations and also All Ability sports. They got to use their new Bible knowledge to teach each other certain blocks and explore the state of the world.

Though I have done All Ability training before, it was so great to try the sports again and watch the interns and our shepherds try to navigate blind baseball and para volleyball.

We have an amazing team and they have the best hearts. I’m excited to see how the course of their life changes as they encounter more of Jesus and share more of the gospel.

On a more personal note, I was blessed to see my entire team IN PERSON! The guys complete our RDIA team in the states and the lady is Lindsey who is our Advancement Director for North Global. We spend at least two days a week on calls together and message each other regularly, so it was great to be with my friends for a few days!

It’s been an amazing week, and there is more I could say, but I’ll leave you with a takeaway from one of our Great Lakes interns and more pictures:

This experience has been unbelievable and we’re only one fourth the way done. In the first week of Global Impact the Lord showed me in DC right away the power of community & fellowship. The way our team clicked is something I have never been apart of. I’m so grateful I get to go through this internship with my best friends!

Since being in Wales, God has been showing me his heart for EVERY Nation and ALL people. Orientation was powerful, convicting & informative – I could go on and on about the ways God touched my heart. Having the opportunity to put what we learned into practice though has to be the best part-getting to have intentional conversations in a different country is amazing! My heart is open to what the Lord wants to show me & the Global impact team the rest of this month!
